World Malaria Day 2008/2009

Each year on April 25th, the international community joins together to commemorate all of those affected by malaria, and the worldwide effort to combat this devastating disease. A new theme is set each year by the Roll Back Malaria Secretariat. 2009 was "Counting out Malaria".

Each April The MENTOR Initiative country teams work with the community and their partners to bring awareness to malaria by commemorationg World Malaria Day through national and community events.
