The MENTOR Initiative’s Malaria Control Response

Supporting the National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP) of the Angolan Ministry of Health (MOH), The MENTOR Initiative remains true to its ethos: building the capacity of the entities responsible for malaria control at country level to ensure the use of efficient strategies with sustainable outcomes. In close collaboration with various international stakeholders like UNHCR, UNICEF, US Agency for International Development (USAID), and the US Center for Disease Control (CDC) among others, The MENTOR Initiative has implemented projects for the past seven years that provide the technical and material support needed to bring the NMCP closer to its target in reducing the overall burden of malaria by 80% reduction within 2015 (MDG)
