ChadThe Way ForwardThe MENTOR Initiative continues malaria prevention and case management activities to refugee and surrounding host population in Southern Chad through renewed funding from the USG Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration (BPRM). In the East, the MENTOR Initiative has recently started the implementation of a new programme in the Salamat region south of Dar Sila. The aim is to replicate the success of our previous interventions further north in Eastern Chad. These activities cover the three health districts of Am Timan, Aboudeia and Haraze and are expected to reach up to 300.000 people. In the regions of Ouaddai and Dar Sila, support will continue with supply of diagnostic tests and anti-malaria drugs.
