The Way Forward

The MENTOR Initiative is currently transitioning from its direct implementation in the east and south to a programme of technical support and training to all partner organisations: MoH, NGOs, FBOs, UN agencies, and the communities.  As experts in training and establishing emergency preparedness plans the MENTOR teams are working with their partners to ensure that best practice for malaria control is implemented in all of the health and WATSAN programs for refugee, IDP and host communities, and planning and budgeting for these interventions is done within each of the partner’s plans.
