Corporate Sponsorship

Become a corporate sponsor & assist The MENTOR Initiative in ensuring that lives are saved.

Since January 2003, the MENTOR team has been running ‘Malaria Control in Humanitarian Crises Intensive Training Workshops' for both field and HQ staff of National and International NGOs; Faith Based Organisations; UN Agencies; Donors; National Malaria Control Programmes; Pubic Health, Medical and International Affairs Students; Suppliers and the Media. Over 200 participants attend the sought after training each year.

The aim of the workshops is to ensure evidenced based decision making by all parties involved at the forefront of health care provision in humanitarian crises to assess, plan, implement, and monitor and evaluate effective and coordinated malaria prevention and control strategies. This is reflected as a part of their overall emergency health response to acute emergencies - conflict and natural disasters for populations including IDPs, refugees, host communities - and countries moving through recovering crises into reconstruction phases.

The MENTOR Initiative seeks support for these workshops to ensure:

  • Expert lecturers in malaria control
  • The funding for the participation of National Malaria Control members from developing countries
  • Essential resources to the set up and delivery of the training
